However, my friend had such a bad experience with this Vertical Door kit on his C6 Corvette and it got me thinking that these are not worth it. What it means by bolt on is that it attaches to the factory bolts rather than being welded to the body of the car like other kits. Either way you’d need to take part of the fender out.
You lost me at “he installed it himself.” You also lost me with the filthy vette. Leaving that car that dirty says a lot about the owner and how they maintain the car. Says a lot.

Lol my z came with them. They don’t always have to be used. But they are useful if u tryna work under the dash or change fuse or open door all the way if u too close to another car. Better have em then not. Only the price might be deal breaker

Have PROs do your doors. You get what you pay for IF you/they dont know wtf your doing.
Struts will last atleast 5 yrs and cost like $100.
