Who do you use to insure your lambo?
Shit I wasn’t aware that the A-Arm was so strong, I used to go through them
on my Quad all the time LOL
Ouch. You and your Lambo might be million miles away from where I live, but
I feel the pain on the car & your wallet.
Hope it gets fixed soon (and hopefully the tubular chassis isn’t FUBAR).
This is the kind of thing that throws a monkey wrench into anybody’s plans
to buy a more affordable exotic these days. Where my current dream car the
Ferrari 355 is going for around 70k which I should be able to afford in my
lifetime. The parts for said car or any damage could just about retire that
plan.
Of course the parts, factory or otherwise, for a Lambo aren’t going to be
cheap. But that can be said of almost any car. Whether it’s a Honda or a
Lotus. Car parts from the dealer are usually ass rape to begin with. Exotic
car parts… well I can only imagine you need to match that with exotic
money as the few parts you rhymed off there totaled probably 4 or 5 grand.
Nevermind the damage and other stuff. An eye opening video for sure.
that tubular part of the chassis is just a small subframe that only exists
to support fenders etc. unless te main beam of the chassis is damaged, i
don’t think it will be any problem repairing it, and it would definitely
not affect any of the dynamics of the car or the safety
my brother and i just spent 3 days trying to fit his twin turbos around his
new steal scatter shield , its APS twin turbo 99 corvette .. you would
think people with a turbo would want it but it sure didnt want to fit lol
.. we shoulda made a video on what part of the shield we had to cut out

those prices are ridiculous! there no different from other car parts. your
just paying for the brand (of course im sure they are made slightly better
with materials) but its funny how that one control arm, is enough money to
buy an entire car! Lolz -__- got to love the economy. im jking, hahah

Wow…that sucks.
I had my jack slip on my car and the jack caught it on the rocker….that
was tense but seeing the work required on your car is….pretty bad. Feels
like crap for sure but life goes on.
I wish I had the damn money you paid for the lower control arm and the
wheel hub. I’d buy a nice car with that money or repair my current one and
save the rest for any moment of need. GL with this repair man. Its going to
take a lot of time and money. Hopefully, insurance pays for most of it.

Going through the price of all your components gives me less to bitch about
on my 67 E-type restoration, your videos have inspired me to make sure that
when I turn 27 this june I wont be treading water anymore. I’ve been
sitting on this car since I was 13, I just started working on it before I
found your videos. I’m doing a lot less thinking and more doing
why don’t you buy refurbished parts? They are just as good and so much
cheaper.

Man sorry for your bad luck! I hydroplaned my BMW 330i about a month ago
and I(being the gear head i am) am repairing it myself to save a couple
grand. Just wondering if you had any plans on giving the brake caliper
away(if it is trashed at least) or any other of the damaged parts? Maybe a
souvenir for car enthusiast?
I was a hundred dollars off each time when you told us to guess, you should
create a “price is right” type of episode for your channel while it’s being
repaired!
