No it’s analog, though the way it switches between amperage settings on the
knobs is via square wave. In other words, it instantly switches between the
2 settings. When you look at it on a scope, it forms a square wave.

Fantastic unit, so are you digitally controlling the resistance,
i.e.amperage back to the unit.
