If you don’t which parts are suitable to upgrade this laptop, try
researching Amazon for some RAM, SSD, CPU, or even GPU parts.

Panther9811 says:

Does the ASUS G750 have 2 disk spaces or do I have to swap out the HDD in
order to place an SSD?

TinkerTillDawn says:

Hey, great video. What’s the height of the drives in the JX? 9.5mm or
12.7mm? I’ve got a G750JS coming and wanted to install an HDD caddy in
place of my optical drive, just not sure if I need 9.5mm or 12.7mm. Anyone
know where I could get the specs for the G750 models listing their height?
Thanks!

Progamer1611 says:

Thank you very much for your video. Just opened mine using a credit card
like you and it worked perfect. I am not the hardware crack. My Asus got
only 8 Gigs. Is it possible to upgrade with two 8 gigs bars or do I need
two 4 gig bars??

ORYAN STAR says:

You just voided your warranty lol

nccodyssey says:

Just got G750 and looking at installing a extra HHD. What type size
screwdriver did you use? The ones I’ve been using don’t seem to fit and I
don’t want to accidentally grind away the indention.

another Galaxy Note 3 video is exporting (12 Minutes until I can upload

When my family acquired new laptops, my dad chose this model because it’s
fast, upgrade-able, has a sub-woofer, and is 12GB RAM powerful. I was
going to get a smaller laptop, but it’s battery was a dud. After seeing
one of these and realizing that I don’t have a desktop PC, I decided to
return&swap for this laptop. My dad installed Linus on his, upon first
boot! I would too, but I like PC games, however DESPISE windows and
especially 8. Nice video!!!

TakuPlays says:

Dude thank you very much. You Helped me alot!

Blake Fasse says:

Does the g750 that doesn’t come with an ssd still have that extra port?

Abram Vargas says:

the L and the R are used if you swap the drive to the Left bay or the right
bay. So if you swap the right HD to the left bay you will have to use the
screw hold that are marked L and vice versa.

Koodo Bonnie Doon says:

This video is good, thanks.

Silvio Pinto says:

when u buy a rog 750, what kind of ram comes with the pc?

Ian Hare says:

Out of interest is the Vengeance RAM stock or your upgrade and if stock is
it low latency?

Manuel Alejandro Bojórquez León says:

The L and R indicators in the Drive Carrier are for Left and Right. Left
and Right Bays. As you can see, both carriers face the same side while the
drives actually have the SATA connector un the center of the whole bay,
that means they need to be placed in the carrier using the correct holes
for each side.

I need to ask: I have 2*4gb Kingston (part number: 99U5428-049.A00LF with
1.5V) and factory installed 8 gb Samsung (M471B1G73QH0-YK0 with 1.35V) on
my Asus Rog G750JZ – it works fine for now … but will it make some
problems to my new laptop? or can this ram setup damage it???

Joshua Elford says:

HarryPlays says:

Can you purchase any normal SSD on the market to install? Also would I be
able to install a SSD on the Asus G750JM?

rayku22 says:

i still dont know whats the differences between all those g750 models

im looking at this model G750JS-T4068H from amazon uk

but i have already seem a lot of descriptions different for that model,
like max 24gb memory, max 32gb memory, 8 gb ram and 16gb ram

i would like g750js-t4155h its already with cpu 4710 and 16gb for £20
difference but its french so it comes with azerty (so sad about that)

does all of them have that 2 slots inside the case? if yes, does they come
with or without ram? do you replaced “external” rams or you added them?

thanks

nickikz says:

i installed ram and it works fine but after laptop wakes up from sleep fans

Rodney Spartan says:

And dose is suport EXPRESS GATE like my ROG G60VX ? and wich one do you
have i bought the 17 inche model

karubob says:

Hi, I do not know if anyone told you or if your later figured out, but the
L and the R on the caddy is to act as a guide for when your inserting the
hard drive into the right or left holding bay of the laptop. L = Left and
R=Right. So that we don’t have to be memorizing which way we took the hard
drive out.

Raul Torres says:

+wwjoshdew in digitalife.com what memory ram and hd are compatible or
could you name them

Kemo D. says:

Ok This is a noob question so don’t laugh. If I have the OS on the HDD
drive will I need to install it again on the SSD? And how will the laptop
boot if my OS is on the HDD and I’m using the SSD to boot the laptop?
Please explain because I’m confused. Thanks in advance and keep up the
great work!

DaniTaka88 says:

do you have the same video but with a Asus g55vw?

Vashada Singh says:

I just purchased the ASUS G751 JM-BHI7T25. It came with 8GB of RAM, I also
purchased 16GB more to install myself. The store has given me the DDR3. Is
this right for my computer? Or should I get the DDR3L?

Daniel Castillo Gonzalez says:

Hi! First of all thanks for your videos, they are very helpfull. I got a
Asus G750 mine have 8 GB of RAM my Speccy says that the type of RAM is
this: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28)

I saw your Speccy and it looks the same, so my question is what type of RAM
should I use. Thanks a lot in advance.

PuppyRah says:

Its a good laptop i have the version with the GTX770m i love it the only
down side is the CPU isnt good enough for what i need really

Radenska512 says:

How many “Dear Santas” have you written? Or you just get things like this?

User Unknown says:

I accidentally ordered 2 sets of 8gb sticks in total. So you’re saying you
can pull up the underneath and get access to 2 more DIMM slots? So it
wasn’t a waste of money then? I have the DDR3L. Is this the correct type?
I’d love to see a dis-assembly video showing those extra slots! Any word on
if that voids your warranty?

Erik Hansen says:

Is it possible to change the GPU? I have the G750JM with GTX860M 2GB.

noce sasahara says:

hei, can you please make a video where you clean both fans?

Milton Roa says:

the ASUS ROG G750 Series G750JM-DS71 with 1tb HDD and its good stil but it
kinda slows down when im multi-tasking. id really appreciate the help

AverageGamer2009 says:

I have the g750jz-ds71. the ssd is comprised of 2x128gb sticks, I just
opened it up & can seem to be able to remove that ssd any suggestions?

FoxPlays GamesAndStuff says:

Did they say you could take the back off?

Pasquale Marmo says:

Dude, the R, and the L on the drive caddy are for right and left drive bay
orientation of the drives.
If you are using the drive in the right side drive bay, you need to line up
the mounting holes marked “R”
How can you give a review on this NB and not know that?

PS: If you remove the back, and dismantle this NB to excess the two memory
slots that are under the keyboard, you will void the Asus warranty!!
