I live in Oklahoma (U.S.), and it can get to be 100+ *F in the summer. I
think you will NEVER need a heat gun.
Pair of wankers…Probably from Castle Hill or some softcock suburb like
that.
For adhesive removal use ATR ADHESIVE SOLUTION!! Instantly dissolves
adhesive on contact!

So the object is to melt the glue AS the tint is peeled KEEPING IT AS A 1
JOB PROCESS, oppose to stripping off the tint and leaving the glue behind,
making it a longer DOUBLE JOB!! GOT IT!!!

What’s that razor blade holder called?
Marty’s mums car has got it goin on, it’s all I want and I’ve…. Haha ,
it’s a beauty!
Just use a steamer and a razor blade
Just got quoted £175 to remove old tints on my Mk4 Golf so going to try
this to save some £’s!
P.s. love the show watching it in Shetland Isles, Scotland,GB :-)
A $30 clothing steamer is the only way to fly. Any glue left over is
quickly washed away by simply spraying some carburetor cleaner into blue
paper shop towels, and washing the window as if you were cleaning the glass
with actual glass cleaner. Then give the glass a quick clean using black &
white news paper, and glass cleaner. Literally, takes less than 5min per
window. No waiting for anything to warm up, or waiting for any product to
have an effect, and no mess. I just removed tint that had been on a
vehicle baking in Texas and New Mexico heat for 12yrs. It was ridiculous
how easy and fast it was.
And no worries about defroster windows!
You guys are fucking stupid, a steam gun works even better and NO glue
whatsoever. A clothing steamer, any kind of steamer.
Our cops here just pull it out in one go . why? becuz racecar! lol no..cuz
we arnt allowed any tint at all. :/
Thanks for the video gentlemen.
Use a steamer to remove the tints. Far more easier, less tools required,
leaves no residue, very safe for the rear window and can be done by just
one person.
Thanks MCM now I know how to get that purple tint off my monte carlo.
These guys are hilarious and informative, great vid
Never, ever, EVER drag your razor blade backwards. NO SCRUBBING. That’s how
you drag grit about and scratch the glass.
Tip for everyone! If you still have a large amount of sticky residue, put
that knife away. Use Toluene.
WARNING! Take proper precautions to avoid breathing in large amounts of
fumes.
