007slaya says:

dillon14dj says:

Braendel Bond says:

Where did u get these? Can you post a link? Is it really fussy? Do you constantly have to keep adjusting the spring?

tonytober says:

Hell of a nice car. Good videos man

007slaya says:

Nice, and ya that would be the best way to do it, and it is and Allen key that’ll unscrew it, it may be drifferent for ur car…open the door that works and ull be able to see if it is an Allen key of a screw on cap thing, most kits are different. If you have any more questions just let me know

Just an air intake. B16
Year I’m going to get the jack, take the wheel off, get my friend to hold it up and reach in there. Do you unscrew the shock? Is it a pin or something? I’m trying to learn about this stuff and you did yours yourself so you know alot

007slaya says:

Lol thanks. And ya that can work u just gotta make sure the guy holding the door is strong and doesn’t drop it and cut ur hand off :/ it might be a bit difficult but it fan for sure be done, if u can I’d try and take it off from under the fender…in the wheel well…so take off wheel well cover and it should be easier to reach. And ya for sure post some vids cause ur civic sounds sweet. Any mods?…b16,b18?

31525juggernaut says:

Alright sweet!
Lol just got the car. Its a 1993 Honda civic with custom molded body all the way around. Gonna have to get someone to hold the door while I reach in to swap it out! Fender isn’t gonna come off lol. You think that’ll work?
Ill post a video of my car, all fiberglass from the inside out, and hand laid carbon fiber on the roof. Your car was an inspiration to me so I got my own lol

007slaya says:

Hey, ya man it’ll prob take 10min to take off fender cause it may be a pain in the ass, and the fully open the door and all u do is unscrew the shock and put in the new one…that part takes like five seconds, just make sure you get the right shock to fit the door cause some kits are different and also go with the same weight…prob 750lbs shocks…it should say on the shock on the door…also some kits come with two shocks so before ordering I’d check out the door first. And thanks man.

31525juggernaut says:

So it is easy to swap out if the door is open? And would it take what like 5 minutes to swap out?

I’m getting a 1993 Honda civic (Go Honda!!!!!) With Lamborghini doors and one of the shocks is blown out. Just was making sure its possible.
Love your car!! Keep posting! Sweet freaking ride

007slaya says:

Yes, you will also need someone else to hold the door up in the air while you put on the new shock. Do not try and take off the shock while door is closed or else it may fly off and hit u because it is compressed.

31525juggernaut says:

For the Lamborghini door door shock, when it blows out, the only way to replace it is to remove the fender and unscrew it and screw a new one in?
