us FW update so the FC recognize the zenmuse when connected on board… )
Just spent a small fortune on one of these only to find that the gimbal
doesn’t respond to the X1 trim lever. Tried updating Fw for gimbal IMU from
1.6 to 1.8 and it fails every time. A bit hacked off now as it took me 10
days to get the gimbal working on my Phantom 1, and that was software
issues :@

DJI Phantom 2 Zenmuse Montage
The connection to the actual gimbal to the phantom 2 is very lose and have
had problems with it from very beginning. The slightest knock or adjustment
unplugs the connection between it and the phantom. Also when it is
connected the gimbal control on the remote has no effect on the gimbals
movement. PLEASE HELP AS IT IS OTHERWISE A PLEASURE TO FLY

So, It isnt possible to manual tilt with phantom 2 + zenmuse h3??
It would be nice to see an adapter bracket to allow the Phantom 2 Vision
Camera to attach to the Zenmuse instead of the GoPro. That way we can
maintain the Visions built in FPV system while maintaining the stability of
the Zenmuse. Two other companys have done this and it would be nice to see
DJI do this as an available upgrade to their P2V who would like to upgrade
their video shooting experience.

I added to my new phantom 2 the old zenmuse that i bought for my phantom 1.
It works ok apart from the up and down tilt function. Using the tilt
control on the new phantom 2 controller does nothing. Any one have any
ideas?
