It's as if car manufacturers are making their cars disposable items with all of these faults. A British Leyland made car is now more reliable than most of these new cars.

As Scotty said the manual transmission is more preferred than the CVT automatic ones. And cost less to maintain it.
Hyundai/Kia are crap.
My 2013 Kia Rio almost 10 years old with 137454 miles still runs strong getting my oil changed at 138000. I do my oil every 4000 miles, she might be a Kia but its very reliable and great on gas never get above $40

So right now there is some tiktok video on how to steal Kia and Hyundai's with a phone and a USB cord. Here in Chicago they are being stolen daily and used to commit robberies, drive by shootings and other crimes. If you own a Kia or Hyundai, you probably won't for long (they are actually suggesting people buy the club and lock the steering wheel).
That's exactly what happened to my niece in her Hyundai, ended up stuck in the middle of freeway, young children on board, was a very scary experience for them all.
Loving my Hyundai Venue so far. I pray nothing happens that makes for a major recall.
