i have a 2002 kia spectra. i can easily change the bulb butmy problem is i
cannot get the headlight aligned after…. ive turned the “adjuster” to
bring backdown the beambut it doesnt seem todoany good.

ThePariss333 says:

@blazerlover25 I LOVE AND THANK YOUR EFFORT TO SHOW US AND TEACH
US,BUT,NEXT TIME, LET SOME ONE ELSE TO HOLD THE CAMERA, ITS SO HARD TO
FALLOW. I HAVE KIA 2004,SEDONA, I HAVE NEVER CHANGE THAT BULB,NEVER. I TELL
YOU WHAT I DO: IN THE SEMAFORO LIGHT, IF I WAITING TO TURN LEFT,I DONT PUT
THE LIGHT ON. WHY TO WASTE LIGHT, JUST PUT IT WHEN YOU ARE TURNING,SOME
TIME YOU DONT EVEN NEED IT. IF YOU SEE AROUND AND NO ONE IS COMING YOUR
WAY,DONT PUT IT,THATS WHY YOU’RE BURNING THE BULB.

blazerlover25 says:

@discoveryman was their a problem with the alignment before?the adjuster
should never be messed with unless it was already out of adjustment if you
just had a blown bulb then all you needed to do was change the bulb if your
headlights are out of wack then i suggest taking it to a professional to
realign the headlights

blazerlover25 says:

@littleseanx yep that is why this car is sitting in the junkyard lol

Sean Pound says:

2004 is fugly.

6608baby says:

i wanna open the bulb to remove condensation

blazerlover25 says:

@6608baby well the headlamp assembly is a sealed unit if you got
condensation in the headlight its best to set the car in a dry place and
let it dry itself out or if you got an air compressor with a blow nozzle
put the nozzle inside where the bulb goes and blow it out that way

Kevin J says:

it`s weird how you keep on having to replace the light bulbs.. maybe
there`s some kind of electrical problem?

blazerlover25 says:

@6608baby yeah older ones are different might have more room than the 04
and up models but this 04 has no room to get tools in to change the bulb so
it has to come out

Kristine Deutsch says:

have an 02 Kia Shortage.. both head lights went out.. how to replace the
wiring harness..?? can you help..??

mnbdysl says:

Took me forever trying to replace the bulb before this video. Thanks for
the idea. Removed the whole headlamp assembly and took me just 5 minutes to
change the bulb. Cheers!

discoveryman says:

@blazerlover25 no there was no alignment problem before. i also thought it
was odd that just changing the bulb would throw off the beam but somehow it
did. all i did to either side was change the bulb and i have no idea why it
did this. i plan on taking it to a kia dealer to have it checked but i have
to drive 130 miles just to get to anyone who would have any idea. i miss
old style headlights sometimes for this reason. thank you for your reply,

Jack Hinshaw says:

Camera movement is unacceptable. Let someone help you with the camera next
time.

6608baby says:

mine is a 2002 how do i do it my headlight is different

blazerlover25 says:

@ThePariss333 yeah this video was old when i was first getting started
making videos but the bulb don’t burn out cause the car has been in the
junkyard since 2010 due to engine failure and also I don’t have anyone to
hold the camera but I do now have a tripod

blazerlover25 says:

@utdaveling1 hey glad you was able to get some use of this video thats why
i do these videos so people can see an easy and simple way of fixing
headlights although some disagree with my method but yvw good luck with
your kia and dont forget on these newer headlights never ever touch the
bulb or else they will die off in about 2 months and always have clean
hands when installing

blazerlover25 says:

sorry but i dont know how to adjust import headlights i have only done it
on domestic trucks so far but my best advice is have him go to a kia dealer
they would get it adjusted the right way or a body shop can do it too good
luck

blazerlover25 says:

@friskieg sounds like you just need new bulbs but keep your hands away from
the glass part of the bulb or the oil in your skin will cause it to short
out in a few months but if you do need a new harness it is best to contact
the dealer or a trained professional that deals in that area

yoyorsp says:

do you have withdrawal symptoms?

blazerlover25 says:

yeah thats what i been thinking cause they usually only last for a year
then one or the other blows i dont mind if they blew but the cops well they
love to give me a hard time if i got one out not sure what the problem is
but thats only part of the problems with this car best advice never fall
for kias cause they cursed lol
