a good effort selfreliance4all, but you have skipped some important points
which could stop the repair or boost the cost. The tie-rod and top knuckle
connections are tapered, sometimes the pickle fork can damage the boot and
shorten its life. Then handling the axle is delicate, because if you
perforate the boots, you lose the grease which was trapped to atmosphere,
insuring failure. you could remove the shock tower with the spindle to
avoid a wheel alignment. good effort. thanks
