Hey, How do you remove the pulley on this particular altenator? Its a 24 Inch socket but it does not seem to budge. Any Tips would be much appreciated!! This video is amazing and exactly what I was looking for with the brushes.
Great vid WestronicsIrl,
I especially liked the accuracy step by step!
The only hard part for me is removing and replacing it from my car,
front wheel drive with tight access from below the only way to get at it,
my problem, but I’ll get over it………. one day!
Thanks for the vid!

Hi mate,
Sure,in the description you have a link to the listing.
Cheers.
great video. I have a alternator from a 99 outback that looks the same. I have not been able to find brushes for it. Do u have any??
Thanks
Looks like the same alternator on my mazda which i just took off and put my spare one on for now. I was going to take it to a shop to get it repaired, but after watching this vid i think i will take it apart myself and check the brushes. If they are the cause, i will be ordering some. Big thanks for this.

Hello Ron,
I am humbled by you r offer but I think we are all right for solder irons atm.
We always have few new ones in the workshop at any given time.
Thank you.
Super Video! I can send you a modern soldering iron. With your ability, you deserve it! 220 or 110?
Excellent!!!
Some really good tips. Could do with a smaller soldering iron.
Great video! Very helpfull!
hello… when I tested my alternator I got 0.45V can that be the results of worn brushes? My alternator belongs to a 1993 nissan sentra
AWESOME VIDEO MAN!!!Saved some money here
Dziekuje bardzo twoja lekcja byla bardzo pomocna.
Hi Martin,
Just droppin’ by to thank you for the quick delivery of the brushes. Placed my order last Thursday night and today Tuesday they appeared in my mailbox, in a village in the south of Spain.
With the help of your clear video I have been able to change the brushes of my Pajero alternator.
Greetings.
great video!
After working 8yrs I still hate fixing Mitsubishi alternators. Glad to know I’m not the only guy that has to work on them. Lol
This is great!!! Thanks!
THANKS………VERY GOOD VIDEO!
Excellent video, easy to follow and well presented. One question please. I have the same alternator on a 96 Pajero that suddenly started to ‘rattle’ under load then it packed in altogether. I replaced it with a spare and all was OK for about five minutes then that started to rattle under load .. It’s NOT the bearings. It seems to be over charging. Activator feed is 12.5v, the other feed is only 11.5v the output is constant at 14.5v so it seems to be running at full output non stop. Steve
Thanks for the info
Hello,Glad that you like the video.
All mitsubishi alternators manufactured after 1994 have these brushes in them.
Older ones had them too,but not all of them.

Great video thank you. I have a noisy bearing(s) on a Valeo A13N95. Have you done a video showing how to replace alternator bearings ? Also what should you use to clean all the parts when you dismantle everything ?
