Worked like a charm? Thanks, did mine today. Didn’t trust the Amazon ones thought they may be knock-offs, since half the price. So I got mine straight from Moog.
Great video. You inspired me to try myself. One thing to mention, I don’t think any grease went into the zerk… looked like a bad connection….
Just curious how many miles were on the car when you did this? Just curious how long the ball joint lasts
My Kia optima ball joints are shot tried taking them off but is stuck to the arm not the knuckle
Very similar instead of 1 bolt and 2 nuts like your vehicle mine has 3 nuts on the ball joint
im following your lead on changing spark plugs. front and rear brakes with the evolution pads and rotors , ball joints, i was wondering when she needs a water pump haha have to lift engine on that one. thank you cuz in California mechanics want 250.00 a hour your the best thank you
This is extremely helpful! Love the channel!
Its a split pin not a cotter
08:55 is bull crap and lies! ☺
How different would this be on a 2015?
beautifully done. thank you for the video its really appreciated.
Great video. Thanks.
This was a really great instructional video for my 2016. It did however take a lot longer. Removing the bolt at 2:40 was a nightmare and getting the old bearing out was also very hard. Job was about 4 hours.
Do you take the grease zerk off when you're done?
Great video. Question, this is my first time finding out about this part of the car. I’m not really a car guy but I don’t mind fixing things my self. So I took my wife’s car to do an oil change and they do an inspection and found out that I needed to replace the ball joints as well as the air filter. Both front ball joints and air filter was coming up to $1000 big bucks so I said hold on. I bought the air filter and went to change it and realized my air filter was fine. So I came to YouTube and found your channel. I saw the little bit of play that your wheel had and I’m wondering, any play in the wheel is enough to have the ball joint replaced?
Thank you, as always!
