Kia Sedona 2014 Throttle body replacement swap out how to DIY

This is a video of how to change out the throttle body in my 2014 Kia Sedona Mini van. I am not a mechanic and don’t claim to be but I shade tree mechanic from time to time to save money. Kia dealership was going to charge us over $800 dollars to do this job but I did it for $300. Hope this helps you save some money. I didn’t see a video so I made my own.

How did it work? And, since this codes for me; what other problems did you have, if any?

Mark Prof says:

I’m not sure if you mentioned it or not, but did you get any fault codes. My Kia is coming up with these codes in this order & goes into limp mode. P2106 P2110 P0636 & P0430

Hi from Australia, Good vid. Why did you change throttle body. We have same model and engine. But our prob is oil in the throttle body after being left for 1-2 hours then smokes heavily on start. PCV line off, all lines off, but still getting oil in throttle body. Any ideas?

Also around the 11:00 mark, I was wondering did you have to clean inside the Throttle Body?

Thank you so much sir..My 2013 Kia Sorrento was idling properly until she warmed up..She was fine when cold..I had this problem for about a month and finally decided to go online for some sort of DIY help..Sir, I spent 2 hrs and nothing UNTIL I watched your video..I had a throttle cleaner I purchased previously for another vehicle..Anyway, after watching your video, I decided to clean my Throttle Body…My Sorrento is now running perfectly thanks to you and your video..You will ALWAYS be my 1st stop from now on and I have many friends who are always surfing online for video's like your's..I will tell them all about my experience and show them this video or rather give them your page here..Thank you so much, greetings from Newfoundland Canada and please stay safe from this terrible virus..All the best to you and your family.
