Hello again Mike, I was wondering what gaskets you had to replace with the install of the new bearings. I know that I will have to replace the oil pan gasket but am not sure of the name or part number for the gasket between the lower and upper crankcase. And did you also have to replace the oil pump gasket? One last questions, what color bearing did you purchase if you can remember? Thanks in advance for your help.

The oil pump is integrated into the balance shaft assembly cassette it has to remain in time with the engine, if the chain and pump are not in alignment the engine will shake and vibrate like crazy.

I had engine knock and kept driving until my car shit the bed, because I figured the engine was ultimately done anyway. Could I have this repair done relatively cheap and it would even be worth it, or would I just be better off buying a new car?
