Wait so the 2021 Kia Forte gt doesn’t come with remote start from factory?
Would this work for 2022 Cerato GT?
This thing works great. Have had it installed on my GT for about a year now and no issues in regard on how it's supposed to work. I did get locked out today though. Left key in car. I have it set up to lock on its own when I walk away from the car and not sure if it's only due to this setting that I guess since it is bypassing the factory system, it forgets the key so that it can lock on its own. I remember seeing in the manual that there was a pin code process you can do using the handle button. I've always kept the manual inside the car just in case so it was not good to me at the moment so I emailed support and they sent me the PDF within 3 min. Impressive. I got in the car and kept on with my day.
Does it flash the hazards while running like the UVO start does?
can you do a video showing that the car cant be driven off when the car is in sleep mode.
Good luck I have a 2020 forte gt. Install was easy sometimes it would work sometimes it would not. Sometimes it would lock me out of my car. Sometimes it would set alarm off and lock me out of my car. Sometimes it would not let me put it in drive. Gave the company many videos of the problems they just told me to unplug to reset. When it worked it was great but it seemed to mess with the alarm.
am i the only person having trouble trying to take out the first two connectors?
