In this quick video I show you the special way to change out your pcv valve. You are going to want to change this out if you are burning oil at a rapid rate. I was burning a quart of oil per week at the very least. I could not figure out why. I then did some research on Kia’s and found that the PCV Valve goes bad on these cars and that can cause a lot of engine oil burning. Click the link below to get your pcv valve.

What cylinder was it burning oil from?
Mine was change out but it still burning oil!!
I have replaced my sparks plugs now in my 17 optima 2 times in the last 3 months. Could this help that issue at all? My oil burns mad quick aswell

You should be using a 20 mm deep socket to do that
Use a 13/16 socket guy. I got mine from Advance Auto for $20.

Use a 13/16 socket or vice grips less chance of breaking 2:58 valve cover! Advance carries them
Hi. I need help locating a pvc valve in a hyundai h100 2007 engine.
For what it's worth, I just replaced the pcv on my 2016 optima like 30 minutes ago, and a 13/16 spark plug socket fit it perfectly.
2016 sodena is so much more that have to move out of the way, to get the PVC out and back in
This reminds me of a guy at a birthday party one time, he blew up his child’s BD party Jump house with a bicycle pump. The kids all went home but he got it blown up by the the kids next year‘s birthday.
Why not buy the proper tool to remove the pcv?
