We finally received a Lithium Ion battery System assembly from KIA that we ordered few months ago, In this video I’ll show you guys how to remove the battery pack from the vehicle, disassemble, installation and test drive.

-To provide the 360V high voltage electric energy to electric motor
-To save the electric energy genera rated by regenerative braking system
-Charged by rapid charge or normal charge
TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Ground cable mounting bolt 5.8-8.7 lb-ft
High voltage battery system mounting bolt 40.5-60.8 lb-ft
Safety plug cable assembly bracket mounting bolt 5.8-8.7 lb-ft
High voltage battery pack upper case mounting bolt 5.8-8.7 lb-ft
Battery module outlet mounting bolt 5.8-8.7 lb-ft
Battery rear mounting bracket bolt 5.8-8.7 lb-ft
Safety plug cable assembly 5.8-8.7 lb-ft

$2000 for that battery, how much money ya saving now?
oh the dreaded threaded fasteners… sandy munro would loose his marbles. What happens to the old batteries? Did you test the old pack for voltage or resistance difference? There is no battery heating/cooling in those older Kia/Hyundai EVs, that's probably also why it died.
