How To Replace Front Struts Shock Absorber | Kia Rio 2012-2017

This is how to replace the front struts on a Kia Rio using the old springs. I was able to use a normal socket wrench with 10, 17, 19mm sockets, a breaker bar, and spring compression tools to change out the old struts. The new shock absorbers are Monroe. This will also be the same for Kia Soul and Hyundai Accent.

Finally a video that shows someone completely taking the struts apart. Did you have to replace any of the interior components like boots, bumpers, or bearings? Doesn't look like you did.
