Excellent description however, i take notes of all that steps, but the
important part is if you know where i can buy a kit to replace this OEM
radio, to a DVD or a Single Din Radio because the hazard and active eco
button are include. I look in Ebay, Amazon, Google, and nothing, if someone
have an idea, please post!

livinloud101 says:

It is not.. You have to add a LINE OUT CONVERTER / Hi Low Converter. You
can order them off SONIC ELECTRONIX dot Come they are about $10-$50

MrSethklok says:

Do you know if there is a way to replace just the screen? Or would you have
to replace the whole radio

Steven Perales says:

do you know if the 2012 Kia Soul Sub ready?

Joel Gonzales III says:

is there s video that can help me install sn amp to a factory stereo like
this? I have a 2012 kia optima

NewAgeNomads says:

I can tell you that its easy to run the power wire under the dash in the
top left corner .. there is plenty of room . You can either poke a hole
through the rubber boot or drill your own hole. Just make sure you don’t
drill into anything . When you pull out the stereo all the audio wires are
in the plug on the left. The wiring codes you should be able to find
online.. You also need to find the 12 Volt switched power and fuse it for
your Amp Turn on lead..

Steve Blagg says:

Hi I have a 2013 Soul with what appears to be the exact same stereo. When I
am playing a CD, it always puts about a half-second “gap” of silence in the
audio before the next track. I assume this is when the unit does not detect
information in the digital stream (between tracks) and it is designed to
just mute the sound. Usually it doesn’t matter but on CDs like Dark Side of
the Moon or a concert CD where tracks are supposed to blend together it is
VERY annoying!! Does the 2012 do this also?
