hi i have a minivan kia sedona 2004.. how can i changed the thermostat .. please i really don't know nothing about cars plus the mechanic is telling me that i need a sensor de aselerador… and need to change the catalisador.. sorry is in spanish but i hope somebody can help me.. and answer me .. if is true that this is realy expensive to change.. please

I have a 2004 Kia Spectra EX (2.0) . The bottom hose is cold and the top hose is warm/hot. Would that be a thermostat or a water pump. Also, the radiator fan doesn't click on. Please help.
