You said that on a Kia Soul there was only one bulb, I just had to change the OTHER ONE on my wife's 2012 Soul. Please, viewers, always do your research buy watching several YouTube videos before accepting one as accurate. LOL
Thanx for the video,it was very helpful.Wish I would of seen this vid when my bulbs burned out the first time. My Kia dealership didn't put the clip on correctly, it was hanging off the bulb and they said it was broken, so they said i needed to buy a whole new headlight assembly(paid 343 dollars for a new one, but didn't have it installed ) i was looking to see if i could put the clip back on myself. Low and behold i found several vids on how to install headlight bulbs. I successfully got my bulb installed.(that clip was a pain to get back on) I wanted to switch back to my Sylvania SilverStar Ultras(The Kia dealership recommended i go back to the OEM bulbs beforehand) Long story short,I found your vid and installed them myself:) My Kia dealership gave me a credit for the headlight, but i hate going there for anything….
This video saved me hours. The owner's manual directs you to remove the retaining bolts and remove the headlight assembly from the vehicle. I couldn't get it out and came here and you saved my night. Thanks!!
the only part that gave me a bit of an issue was getting the metal clip back in the right position. Got it done and saved myself money. Thanks for sharing this.
On my Kia soul this is the bright light. My low beam doesn't have the pin it's just a black piece of plastic and it won't come off. Won't twist off. Doesn't unscrew…. wtf..
FYI, when I purchased the bulb at Autozone, they gave me a glove to wear so I wouldn't touch the bulb when installing. They said this could cause it to burn out.
Really appreciate the video! So helpful!!
