Why remove the fans? I took mine out from the bottom. Loosen the mount bolts prior to disconnecting the power wire. Use new seals and relax. It’s about a three hour job not including servicing.
Mine was a freakn nightmare to replace. 04 kia sedona.
Is it better to take out the AC compressor from the top of the engine area or from the passenger side of the wheel well?
