Great walkthrough of a front brake job! Just like all your work, top
quality! I enjoy the Guy stuff videos since I’ve always enjoyed your cigar
reviews as well. That caliper bracket was really on there haha. I always
use a braker bar for those, some can be ridiculously tight. And I live up
north so the rust is hell on everything. I’ve had to take a sledge hammer
to the rotors to knock them off! Sometimes the aluminum wheels will bond to
them from corrosion. I have a huge dead-blow hammer to knock them off if
need be.

This has given me just enough knowledge to be dangerous. Lol. Good video
but I’ll continue to let me neighbour (certified mech.) do the wrenching on
my vehicle. I could fuck up a wet dream so I’ll be staying away from my
brakes.

I have been working on cars for over 25 years and this is exactly the type
of how to video that should be on you tube. You did a great job of showing
that the average person can do this without a lot of expensive tools or a
lift. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the great video, I was able to do a brake job on my Soul today
and it went very well.

i did the brakes on a mazda 3 once….an old car of mine….the bracket
bolts had a ton of loctite on them…..i used some but not near as
much……I wonder how many people mistakenly used loctite on the caliper
bolts!!! That has always been a bad faux pas
