This job was a total pain!! Replacing the rotted out floor pan in a jeep xj 2 door. In order to do this repair I had to remove the seat as well as fabricate a new seat riser for the driver side seat. I’m glad this job is done.

Did you just use a 4.5 in grinder to clean up the inside of the rail?
Your going to get galvanic corrosion mixing the aluminum rivets with steel
Where can I get the floor pans ? I need driver and passenger sides. Also for a 2door
Did you caulk behind the floor pan before you riveted it on? i was thinking about doing that to mine. I was wondering what caulk to use. I done want water coming in through the gap between the pan.
How did you get the steel away from the frame so well? I am having issues separating the rusted floor pan over the frame.
Doin the same thing to mine. I like the rivet idea. I may do that as well.
Good video.
Dreading this job on my jeep ima try n save it but I fear I might be doing what your doing.
What did u do with the gas lines while cutting the floors out?
Where did you order your floor pan from and how much was it?
Nice work. Glad your saving the old girl.
