Awesome, Ive been gathering supplies to make my own air system using the
a/c compressor on my trail rig. Your new air compressor gives you a darn
good reason to install train horns!

beerbeansandbullets says:

great installation job. it looks really good. i stumbled upon your channel
while surfing for cherokee vids after purchasing my second xj.and had to
subscribe. love your creativity and humor. I am curious about that unit.
the rated cfm for your 380C compressor setup from Viair is only 1.84@90
psi. each. Twin mounted units, providing 3.64 cfm @ 90 psi, Most air tools
for automotive repair will require a minimum of 5 to 6 cfm to operate
adequately. Have you had an opportunity to use your 1/2″ impact gun with
this setup in the field?

2GUNMASTER says:

Definitely not big enough to actually use for power tools. Notice how the
compressors instantly kicked on from just a burst of use?

X311xjp says:

Is there a build thread for this jeep..thing is sick

FlamEffect says:

I wish I had one, and now I wish I had my jeep.. but the guy that got it,
loves the crap out of it! So thats good, I guess. ha ha

Jake McGibbon says:

For the power to the switch. You said we could go to the “ignition hot” if
we wanted it to NOT run When the key is off. I was thinking fuse panel with
a Relay if it was a high amp switch. But it comes with a ring termnal. I
heard you say “ignition hot” when hooking up switches too. What do you
think is the best spot to hook up a ignition power wire?

Billy Bell says:

right when i saw the title i thought it was for an air suspension till i
clicked on it lol
i luv the setup it gave me an idea for a work truck!

how to finding a vacuum leak my crusie control is not working and heating

ashton miller says:

The safety valve should be on the tank it self.

tristan carroll says:

Mat…. i love your jeep!!!! it is a sexy beast!!!! can we shoot message
back and forth about ideas on a tj??

HardwarePatriots says:

LED light up under the draw. I have a question. I have a 1999 jeep is
smashed up. Im fixing it but i have no idea what two body parts are named.
1. sits behind the grill in the shape of a triangle. 2. is some kinda of
bracket between the finder and the light (metal part of the frame. help
me….. 1999 xj

amjad amj says:

great work

Ryan Woodruff says:

Man I love your videos. You did an awesome job with the fabrication and
such making it a nice clean self contained unit.

prodezignz says:

If you put the relay under the hood or maybe under the dash you could have
put the switch in your switch panel in the passenger side then you wouldn’t
have to go into the back to turn it on! It also says at 15ft or more 4
gauge wire and 60 amp fuse is needed from the battery!

samus989 says:

Stupid question, but if you’re gonna do a self contained removable unit,
why not just get a cheapy one from the local tractor store? Something like
this is meant to be shoved up in some nook on your vehicle somewhere and
just always be there when you need it, especially since like you said its
just for air tool and tires etc..

Michael Broyles says:

The seat belt bolt is not a good ground. The ideal ground is bolted to
bare metal or the frame. 4+ years installing mobile/marine audio

michelthebassplayer says:

Hey Matt ! wouldn’t you have been better to install it un-switched
(ignition switch) since it is mostly for tools & inflation purpose when the
jeep doesn’t need to be running and you’re out of the vehicle. And also for
your purpose of taking it out sometimes It might have been better to use a
quick disconnect for the power/ground cables no ?
But I love the video and your set up.

Tyler Craney says:

You have the best videos on youtube and have inspired many of my projects.
Keep up the good work!

elooney85 says:

Hey Matt, Just stumbled across your videos two days ago, they’re awesome!
Subscribed and will be watching more. What was that noise off camera in the
end of the video? Wife takin’ pics because she thinks your hot?

brent hewitt says:

So turns out that VIAIR “forgot” to list the price on any of the products
their web site offers. Would you mind informing us how much that particular
model costs?

Howard Hase says:

You should pull the carpet out of your zombie jeep and bedline the entire
thing, it would look so good on the zombie jeep! I think it would really
set off the interior.

jake day says:

Awesome video again, you gave me the idea to do this as a all in one unit
and make it fit in a pelican case. Glorious!!!!

DJ SUMMERS says:

I used my ac compressor for my oba. Got about 60 bucks in mine and was
super easy to do. You got to give up you ac. But mine didn’t work that
great anyway.

Chris Hoke says:

Do you know the price?

whoOB1ru says:

i wonder if an angled spark plug boot would of fitted over your positive
connection that you were talking about at 26:26

hunter evans says:

How much was that

strangetruth1920 says:

Very cool set up.
If running front and rear air lockers how would one set up the plumbing for
that? I think ARB lockers need 90psi.
Could you just run a pressure regulator from the extra port you have
plugged on the manifold for both ARB lockers and their solenoids?
