After some dead batteries.. I thought… can I help fix this by using a Solar Panel? Turns out… Maybe.. But the Lensun Solar Hood Panel will definitely help determine that!
After watching for what seemed like forever, I found that there was a 100 watt solar panel perfect for my hood. So I bought it….on sale of course.. We’ll go over installing it, and some details on how it works.

So the cable from the hood panel routes under the rear edge of the hood? I must have missed that part.
I love this idea. Found your channel when I saw you out on a run with Scott from Trail Expedition. Never even thought of a solar panel on the hood of a Jeep. Brilliant! Looked at their site and it looks like they have custom fit panels for darn near every style Jeep including full sized Jeeps as far back as 73'. Amazing, thanks for the video… now I have yet another item I have to put on the "To-Do" list for my CJ rebuild.
