you should not be hearing any sound but if the noise was not as bad when
you did the fluid you may need a friction modifier for your car check that
out hope it works.
I recently have been hearing a clank or even sounds like a pop or thud, as
i drive down from 50mph to 20. start to hear it at 20 or so. I changed the
trans-case fluid which was dirty. still hearing the sound but not nearly as
much. 120k on the clock. rear diff is clean. is this common on the 05 jeep
Grand cherokees?
Update, I took it to a trans shop. After inspection they told me the
emergency brake was making the sound.
