a) That’ because it is cheap. Probably cost ten or fifeteen bucks in hardware.
b) Now he can spend that aesthetic money on real jeep things like sliders or bigger tires.

I’m not saying a “real lift kit” isn’t worth it, just different priorities make for different jeeps.
