Jeep Wrangler 3rd Row Install & Mods / Family of 6's RV Tow Vehicle

We have had a lot of questions on how will a family of 6 fit into a 5 passenger seat Jeep Wrangler?? Well, we installed a 3rd row in the rear and this video shows how we did it and how it is safe and secure!! This is not our daily driver, however we will utilize it when we are going on offroad adventures!

This is awesome!! I always wanted to have a thrift row seat in my Jeep. But never really found anything to save. You have covered ever point possible. My only concern is the drilling the holes through the structure of the Jeep. Now did you just drill through the structure of the body or the body and the ladder frame? Cause when you start drilling holes depending on the location. You are actually causing more of a safety hazard. Because of the impact of a accident. The structure or the frame has lost the ability to absorb the impact.

Stuart West says:

How much was that install?

Justin Harlow says:

brilliant!!!

JimmyDevere says:

Hey thanks for posting. I would love to see an update on this. Thinking of doing something similar.

Sitting in the crumple zone of a vehicle that rolls over in crash test is not what I would call safe. Without a helmet the roll bars are just something to hit you head on. The harnesses are also more dangerous without a helmet and hanz device. Remember Dale Earnhardt. I just hope you don't have to put any of this stuff to the test. Best of luck to you.

Lamont Mcneil says:

Love it great job thank you for sharing I’m thinking about getting my son a jeep and you made me aware of so many things I didn’t know.

ncd7184 says:

Question. Have you called your insurance company to see if they will cover your kids in the case of an accident with the 3rd row modifications? This would be my biggest question or concern.

TA MC says:

Amazing . very cool .

Michael stapleton says:

I had to sell my Jeep because of becoming parents of 4. This video has just inspired me to be a Jeeper again! I am going to install a third row and be able to take my whole family in it!

D Ealy says:

Great job! May I suggest that you have the nuts welded on to the plates and the plates welded to the frame. This way it would be easier to remove that seat frame. You can carry a battery powered impact with you in case you need the jack. Also you may be able to cut the long bracket that goes to the second row bolt and install a heavy duty hinge. This way you only have to remove to two rear bolts. Just a thought. Again great job. Love the Jeep.

Kevin Gilpin says:

Is there any way you could email me the measurements and a diagram so I can have my local welder make me one? Appreciate if you can!

Troy Blume says:

Man., that set up is perfect
I’m going to steal you whole set up.

Ricky Weymers says:

What if a truck rear ends you

Commander Roddi says:

K02s are great! (Got a pair of 35s myself on my Rubi JLU). But I've seen them pop if you hit the wrong (or right?) rock off roading. Good info on this vid! Thanks!

Joaquin says:

You need a steel bumper

Groot Diaz says:

Please trim those zipties.. that drives me nuts

Shaun Webster says:

This is great, but where can I get that bottom mounting plate? ..will you fabricator make more for your fans?

Marlon Hernandez says:

Is this legal?

Lancy Sagesse says:

I love it, now I know what to do if I ever have 4 children
