How come you didn’t weld those gussets to the axle fully? Kinda defeated the purpose of them. You can set the whole assembly on the axle, tac the gussets in a few spots on both sides, and then remove the top part off the axle and the gussets and then fully weld the gussets to the axle where you can’t get to them with the top on it and then start welding the top onto the axle and where it keys into the gusset. I just feel that would be a stronger way to do it. Loved the video though as it’s something similar that I’ll be doing on my JK soon.
