very helpful video, love the creativity of making the new doors…couple of
questions what size hinge did you use how did you affix the hinge plate to
the larger thinner metal plate what was the thickness of the pink
insulation foam thanks

lucaviganet says:

remove the glove box is very simple, there are only two blocks of rubber in
the upper part that hold it in place. To cut the plastic I used a metal
cutter heated with a blowtorch.

lucaviganet says:

The circuit is split BEHIND the blending doors.

How do you remove the glove box? Don’t want to break mine. And what should
I use to keep that piece I cut off In tact?

very nice i have done the same fix on my wj thank god i found out how to
bypass taking the dashboard apart…i was wondering we dont need to
re-install a divider between the two blend door? mine seems to be working
fine. Also is the blend door motor on the other side easy to access from
under the hood im afraid its gonna stop working and i dont wanna have to
change from dual to single zone. Thanks.

ismael santos says:

i will to!!!!!

Gary Galmin says:

That was awesome. Just paid the dealer a 1500$ repair for AC and heater
core and now the air blows out only one center vent… and the driver side
also and very little out the passenger side.

Alex Smith says:

I am Also curious about the middle part that gets left out. My thought is
that it needs to be in there to divide the sections. Thanks for the video!
