Do you have to do anything with timing it after installation.. Thanks

jason cole says:

your time.

My Damn Channel says:

Im not sure never put one on a v8 cherokee, I wouldnt think it would be the
same, but then again its a water pump so it may have some resemblances

jason cole says:

is it the same on a 97 grand Cherokee v8 5.2 tsi. I need to put one in

1DavidStarr1 says:

Great video, thank you

My Damn Channel says:

well usually I just hold the pulley and tighten with my ratchet, then at
times I may use a wrench and a ratchet, depends on what it is im working on.

Erin Franks says:

Hey I wanted to let you know how great a help this video was! I am by no
means a mechanic but I know my way around tools, however without this video
I could never have done it. Much gratitude and many thanks. Job well
done…Any tips on tightening the WP pulley bolts, those are a pain!

Christen Coogan says:

Was this done on an 2002 jeep grand Cherokee overland???

My Damn Channel says:

No it was done on a 1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ

My Damn Channel says:

Well for me I like to take my time, and clean stuff, and get kinda picky I
would say couple hours.

clad iron says:

How long should the job normally take with no distractions, recording,
friends walking up, ect.. ?

mgm3494 says:

Just got mine done yesterday, very helpful for someone who has never worked
on a car before.

Scott M Brown says:

Well done! You just saved me time and money! More please!

ray s says:

i got a question for you i have a 99 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4.0 and
want to change the electrical fan to a fan with clutch i dont trust the
electrical one can it be done? and great video

Michael Officer says:

Thank you, well done… I have a 1999 Cherokee, and it make a weird noise
and I think the pump might be it. What to you think? Radiator fluid loks
like crap, and doesn’t seem to suck enough, lol. I’m not an expert, but I
think the pump might have issues. how do you know if it’s bad? thanks alot!

Kevin Gibbs says:

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic….. by far the best video on jeep service
and repair I’ve seen…. thanks, you have just saved me £400 on car repairs
as my jeep needs a new water pump and drive belt.

My Damn Channel says:

Hey Chase glad my video helped 🙂 If you have any other issues youd like to
see me video let me know 🙂

Eblack12079 says:

Nicely Done !

Grant Smith says:

This is a fantastic video, I have had a possible overheat problem for a
week or so now and this has greatly eased my nervousness about replacing my
water pump if needed. Keep up the good work!

My Damn Channel says:

Hey mgm just posted a video on the most common oil leaks hope it helps.

My Damn Channel says:

Hey GMS thanks buddy 🙂

Chase Dustin says:

Great video! Super helpful and clear. My brother gave me his jeep and
pretty much said just to wing it so, as my first vehicle project, you
helped me out immensely!

Michael Officer says:

Pulley doesn’t move any. Coolant is a brown color. Has sandy/muddy looking
crap is it that you can wipe out with your finger and it’s like mud. I need
to change the fluid, but debating if I should have the pump done too
because I thin it’s bac and I don’t want to waste money on coolant and then
have yo buy more when doing the pump. I’m not sure where the noise is
coming from. Comes and goes with rpms.

Johnny Boots says:

Awesome video! The only thing I do different is tighten down the belt and
remove the water pump pulley bolts with the tension of the belt holding it
rather than the 2 13mm wrenches.

My Damn Channel says:

well damn..now thats a good idea..I would never thought of that hahaha
thanks Johnny!

29LaMan says:

was helpful, but my power steering pump was diff. I also didn’t have to take
it off along with the air filter box.Was able to get it changed without
that. But my power steering feels a little funny, like tighter.Any ideas?
Don’t get me wrong I had my laptop out there with me with your video on the
whole time.A big thanks!! I also own a grand cherokee that is having some
problems, like to speak with you about that also. Thanks bro
