When he puled the fuel pump, one part failed to come out of the tank. It is
a small cone shaped rubber plug. This plug fits on the tube at the end of
the pump. The one that is shiney silver in the video. If you don’t pull
this plug, you will never get it to fit Pretty hard to hit the hole with
the plug already in it.i Just reach into the tank and feel around for it.
You ill not only find it, but it will give you a better idea of exactly
what you must do to get the pump back in.

I do not remember specifically, I think I just pushed down hard enough and
got it installed. Maybe bend the bracket a bit to bring the FP off the
bottom of the tank a little…

This video ends where my problem begins. You had a problem lining up the
tabs because something inside the tank prevents proper alignment. How did
you get the assembly to seat right?
