So…I have a 99 wj…..people say replace or not replace front
driveline….what did you do on your lift? (curently watching, so you may
answer that) but should I buy a new driveline conversion from rustys?

Johny Ellis says:

It’s easier to disconnect the sway while it’s on the ground

@insanerider19 Everybody makes fun of the gloves

hey just wondering im looking at the same kit for me wj and you know the
option it give you about the control arms? did you just get the kit with
the upgraded shocks or did you also choose one of the control arm options
too?

otherstuffbybob says:

@osubuckeye502 My control arms are stock. On my last 4wheeling adventure I
sliced the tread on my tires with the rear fenders. Looking back I would
get the tallest shock option they offer or go for the 6 inch lift, cause
before I get to go 4wheeling again I have to trim off about an inch of
metal off my rear fenders. But build what YOU want—cause it’s a great
feeling knowing you built it yourself. Me?…I amazed mine drives after I
built it! 🙂

The pause button is too close to the like button….

@SimonKentSmith Your welcome. I learned how to put on my lift kit from
watching YouTube videos, and actually made my videos just in case some one
was wondering how to put on a lift kit. I have seen people put on budget
spacers for around $200 for 2 inches of lift. With 4 inches of lift and
higher the angle of the front drive shaft becomes extreme and it destroys
itself…..that happened to me on my second 4 wheeling trip.$650
lift,$450driveshaft. Hey keep on posting vids of your songs!

Yea, I found out that it centers the preload on the bushings at your new
height. Actually very necessary for a proper install. And yes, I am
contemplating a 3″ IRO lift on my ’04 WJ. I would like to go higher but my
wife is a short person. LMAO. She would need a step ladder.

otherstuffbybob says:

@SimonKentSmith As little work as possible?????? Bribe a bunch of friends
with a bunch of beer to come over and help you

otherstuffbybob says:

I think it takes some pressure off the suspension parts, I’m really not
sure. Sounds like your putting on a lift. Have fun

watchnlearn1001 says:

I’m still trying to figure out why they tell you to loosen the control arms.
