Hello! Greetings!!! ¿you has one an video DYI for Removal/Installation of spark plugs for jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0?. Thanks for you help and contributions!!!

Bullshitkorner says:

i got it off ebay look up jeep throttle body and you should find them

jaggedscars says:

Good evening. Do you happen to remember which company you purchased the throttle body from? Been on Google for the last hour looking and have yet to come up with anything remanufactured; just used in “good condition”.

Justus Perry says:

I just did E3’s on mine… I haven’t driven it much since I did, but so far, I’m liking them. A little on the low end all the way up. Idles A LOT better than it did previously. I also changed my oil too though. Went from dino style to synthetic and ran RP 5W-30 in it. I didn’t bother with the plug boots just yet. I probably should since they haven’t been touched since this bitch rolled off the line in ’00. Back to the plugs, if I notice a little better fuel after say a month, I’ll post it

alvaskins says:

Thanks, looks like I’ll be installing a new BBK TB next week. Great vids keep up the good work!

Bullshitkorner says:

no difference in sound but the throttle body spacer will sound louder.

alvaskins says:

Afternoon, did changing the throttle body to 63mm make it sound any different (louder or quieter)?

Bullshitkorner says:

hahahah brewhouse was some shitty beer indeed not as bad as some of the beers that will be shown in some upcoming videos

303Nomad says:

Kind of pissed off you didn’t crack a few PBR’s in this vid. That was a strange garage beer. Wanting to put the larger throttle body on mine soon.

Bullshitkorner says:

to be honest I haven’t really been doing anything with it till after i’m finished building it hopefully sometime late this summer

Joey Milillo says:

dude i love your videos, you do everything that i NEED to do to my jeep. what have you been doing with it? Wheeling, crawling?

Bullshitkorner says:

so far on mine, i haven’t upgraded the injectors, i’m going to hook up my scanner and read the fuel trims and see what they are reading. so far so good as my upgrades haven’t tripped any fault codes

Bullshitkorner says:

i’ve only used iridium plugs in my indian motorcycle, you could always try them and see what happens

Tmstar5 says:

would running iridium plugs make a differece or should stick to the good ol bosch

Tmstar5 says:

How much for an upgrade in injectors? would i need injectors (upgrade) if i have banks headers exhaust, power programmer, stage 2 aFe intake with 62 mill spacer and throttle body also msd coil and wires. also running 93 octane. O yea whats that tool called to check the space on the throttle body? thanks great vids btw

Fungus Exterminator says:

That’s truly amazing. I wonder why auto never suffered the “popping” problem before catalytic converters?

Bullshitkorner says:

yes and no, your computer would compensate for the difference in 02 readings up to a point. Your computer has a set of limits it will run with. once it goes outside those limits a engine code will be triggered if your running lean or rich. i’m currently using a bored throttle body, cold air,tb spacer, headers, monster exhaust and a banks tuner and running fine with stock injectors

Bullshitkorner says:

We don’t have emissions testing here so it’s not a problem. The popping sound on getting rid of the cats on the f150 with a 5.4l is well documented on the internet and I did a video on this subject how the resonator gets rid of the tinny popping sound

Fungus Exterminator says:

Hey Bullshitkorner, a thought just came to me. I one was to only change the throttle body without also changing the injectors, there would only be an increase in incoming air flow with no change in fuel flow. Correct? If so, then changing to a larger throttle body only, would result in a leaner air/fuel mixture, right? It’s like changing to a larger carburetor, but using the same jets you had in the smaller carburetor. Leaner condition.

Fungus Exterminator says:

I fail to see how a stone shoved into your pipes improves it. You can easily pass the “sniff test” with a gutted cat. I gutted the cat on my Miata and on a Blazer I had and gained some ponies & MPG for sure. If your rig was giving a “popping” sound without the cat the the internal baffles in your muffler must have been shot. Funny how we never experienced those strange problems before the EPA meddling. Lung cancer rates have actually increased. keelynet (.) com/biology/cfs (.) h tm

Bullshitkorner says:

i don’t know how big the throttle body is on a 2.5 but people do swap them out all the time you most likely will have to open the manifold up a bit. I would personally leave the cats, I cut the cats out of my f150 when 1 failed and it sounded stupid and really loud with a annoying popping sound. I eventually experimented with a resonator and added that and it’ made it really quiet like it was before.

Fungus Exterminator says:

Good video. If I replace the throttle body on my 2,5 TJ with a 4.0 throtle body/apacer, will the opening in my 2.5 manifold be smaller and cause restriction. If it does, do I need to die grind it out the intake using a 4.0 gasket as template?? I am thinking about an exhaust header and Gut the cat or replace with a straight pipe to stock muffler. I don’t like loud exhausts & have heard stock mufflers flow very well. My second plan is get rid of the 31″ tires and get 275X75 all terrain Wranglers.

blackericdenice says:

Cool, I was just checking to see where your head at. Carry on.

Bullshitkorner says:

yes that is true but the throttle body is just one of many upgrades I have planned for the jeep but pistons, cam and head is where you will make the most power

blackericdenice says:

I have bad news for you. The restriction you looking for is the cam. Only one cylinder sucks in air at a time so the stock TB is fine. Yes I know they said it will improve power. So will going to church and giving Eddie Long 10%.
