How to replace water pump on Jeep Liberty 3.7 KJ

Very easy to do. Brief over view of how to change the thermostat as well. My water pump was leaking coolant.

thank you for this video. one point though—that torque wrench is useless
for this job unless you are smart enough to take a magic marker and mark
the side of the torque wrench guage at 43 foot pounds–the correct torque
setting–because there is no waay you can read that guage for half the
bolts. A click torque wrench is more suited for the job as are hose clamp
pliers. Mention of the thermostat installation and bleeding air from
cooling system would have helped quite a bit too.

Thanks for posting the video. I am replacing my therm and pump this Friday
and being a (mostly) novice there were details in your process that other
videos have not had. Hopefully this will be the end to my overheating.
Already replaced a cracked radiator two months ago so that part is fixed.
All research leads to my WP being the culprit now. Will keep an eye out for
future repair videos if you post them. Please thank the camera operator as
they did a great job as well!
