I've got a used one that I pulled at the salvage yard, but I'm just not excited about doing this. I'm trying to figure out what failed. Was it a cable?, a plastic piece that I can't see? I hear the motor working it just wont retract. It will pop open in front but wont go back. I've looked at the used track and still have a hard time figuring out how it operates. Any Ideas?

Great video Martin. It seems the Grand Cherokees have a lot of common problems. My sunroof quit working a year after I bought it. Now I know for sure I will never fix it. Not worth it for me.
Great Job! Really appreciate your level of detail explaining the process. Question, how did you keep track of your screws, bolts, clips, etc., when you removed them to take off the headliner? Also, my daughters 05 larado (assuming process is the same), is leaking when it rains hard. I'm assuming the drain hoses are shot. Are they hard to replace? Thanks again!!

I love sunroofs but I am so pleased that my WJ has not got one fitted as I could never be bothered to do a job like that
I have a Snap-on deep 5.5 I bought for my 1984 Mustang TFI module. I thought at the time, "I'll never use that again" wala…sunroof dumped water in car every time it rained. Read the drain lines would break, so dropped headliner to see they were fine, just clogged. But I have a new use for the socket.
