love you guys!
Nice training video and job well done. I cringed a few times. Always start bolts by hand, less likely to cross thread the bolt. Oil jugs are designed to pour smoothly if you turn it around. Spout on the top not the bottom. you don't get the chugging and spills. and when your flushing the fluid, jack up the axel and take the pressure off the pump until the air is flushed out. it makes it much easier to turn dry.
i really like canada, eh?
Very jealous of the way your steering gear came off sector shaft. Doing mine right now and this bastard is putting up a hell of a fight! As always, thanks for the video Jerry. Ready for my own mfbt!!
someone buy this man a beer!!
I swear of all videos I've seen, pitman arms must really be a pain in the balls!
Great video thanks Jerry. Do you think I can find a second hand steering box for a right hand drive TJ down here in NZ? No fuckin way!
Awsome vids keep them coming
Good video. You sound way more Canadian when you're with your buddies, LOL. 😉
I had lost my keys to my daily driver, so i had to take the jeep in to work this morning. they whole way i was thinking " i need to upgrade replace loose as steering box" . Get into work and see this vid lol. Im going to do the 98 derango upgrade though. same bolt pattern just a heavier duty box.
Great vid as always, but why not just replace the output shaft seal? Did the old box have other issues too?
What kind of pipe wrench is that
I need to do that on my 95 wrangler
You and your helper made that job look easy. Good job Jerry.
