can you add a video for the Grand Cherokee 99-04 Power door actuator
replacement? (rear passenger door)
We’ll keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make this
repair in the future. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Hey thanks for the reply but its on the door side and not the panel
connection im talking about with regards to the rod… thanks again.
It may connect to the handle, if your really in a bind you could take the
door panel off of the other door, and you’ll be able to see where it
connects to. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Help, when taking off the door panel to install a new window regulator the
door locking metal rod ( 2 that connect to the door panel not sure what
it’s called) one popped out completely from inside the door. It’s impossibe
to see inside the door to see where this connects back. Help!
Very helpful. Awesome!
Dude this saved me because I didnt know how to remove the door lock control
arms. Subscribed!
Thanks for watching. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
any chance you could do a video on door panel and window replacement for a
1997 jeep cherokee?
Hi, Thanks for the videos, they are really helpful. You convinced me to buy
parts for my jeep from 1aauto. I have a question, I need to replace the
blower motor resistor. I found it in under the passenger dashboard and saw
the two wires that I need to disconnect. I am having a hard time
disconnecting them, is there a trick to it? or do I just need to pull hard
enough? I don’t want to because I’m afraid of breaking the whole thing.
Thanks! Keep the videos coming!!!
Unfortunately at this time we do not have any videos on the rear door
panels, just the front.
thumbs up to broken clip at 3:30 near bottom of screen
hoping this is close to my 06 commander. found a video that shows a
bad/snapped ground wire (which caused failed controls on the window
controls) thanks for posting,.
if the door won’t close then the issue might be the panel was not aligned
correctly when you installed it back onto the door frame.
Thank you for checking us out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
replace door speakers. thanks:)
@againstthywill When we get a Cherokee of this year range in the shop,
we’ll do a video on removing the door panel.
@ralongor There may be a clasp on the plug end that you need to push on.
Some of the plugs have these to help to keep them attached to the resistor
so that they do not wiggle free.
Thanks for posting this video. I had seen a picture description, but this
is much better. I have a 2000, and all of my locks are making the quacking
noise. The passenger front quit working. Just a note, 7 of the 11 clips
broke when I was removing the panel. They look nothing like the ones in
this video. Checking a dealer site, they claimed the clips were designed
for 1 time use only! Also a dealer wanted nearly $6/clip! But I found some
at an auto parts store and made them work.
i have a 99 jeep cherokee sport that i change my front door speaker
recently.. And now my door won’t.. Any suggestion please
@againstthywill You’re welcome. Thank you for viewing our YouTube channel.
The can be tough little buggers to remove sometimes. If you happen to break
a couple, the dealer should be able to get them for you.
It should be fairly similar.
@fbooth6 You’re welcome. Thank you for checking out our YouTube auto repair
channel.
1999-2004 is wrong , cause your showing a door panel that was not used til
2002 … Just saying …… That video on the regularor was awesome im
gonna be doing my 02 tomorrow , last time it broke it cost me $350 this
time im doing it for under $100 thanks to you …..Big Kudos
Thank you. Couldn’t have done it without you. Broke no clips!
Do you think that the removal procedure is similar on a 2006 Commander? Are
the clips the same type?
np. thank you for posting these vids 🙂 im not the best at fixing stuff on
vechiles so they help alot 😀
got any videos on the REAR door panels?
i own a 1994 grand cherokee will this work for the door panels too?
You can probably apply some of the basic procedures to remove it, but the
way some of the trim peices attach may be different.
These Jeeps are pretty famous for their electric door locks messing up.
Wish you had a video covering replacing the those door lock actuators. I’m
gonna try, when it warms up a bit, but they look like some sort of
primative creature and are probably as difficult to install. Thanks anyway
for the videos
Is the rear door removal similar to the front door?
