Eddie Morton Tap Man says:

Nice upgrade indeed

Stuart PULVERMACHER says:

I think scotch lock connectors oughta be banned for outdorr automobile use they can cause a lot of corrosion problems especialy where road salt is used they can cripple an electrical system they are junk as far as im concerned

Jes says:

That one headlight turning completely off to indicate while the other one doesn’t seen not right but I don’t now

Erik 1701 says:

i dont like how your running lights kick over to turn signal ..when you use turn signals/hazard … thats a dangerous thing ….. being i use to plow if that was on a truck DOT would ground them from the road and halos are illegal in some states

D Pyles says:

In the case of vehicle lights Better = Safer so that's always good! Thanks

Ji Fi-01 says:

Agreeing with previously stated – I think it is important that you considered the issues of blinding oncoming traffic and adjusted the lights accordingly. I run into so many thoughtless DIYs that slap the units in and run without another thought about it.

Bri&Syn McDonald says:

The Redgreen show – that was one of my favourite Canadian shows – I like the headlights might have to put on my wife's wrangler as well if I can find my duct tape – good job – as Redgreen would say -"keep your stick on the ice. "

D.A. Ballou says:

Great job Neil!

Jim Germain says:

Good video Neil! Vinyl is final I always say! I use electrical tape all the time for quick fixes! Can’t say I’m a big fan of the scotch lock connectors though. When I absolutely have to use them, I use the marine grade ones with the “flubber” silicone gel inside. They help with oxidation and corrosion. When I converted to LED headlights, I was fortunate to only have to change the bulbs. Looking forward to the next one!

Farmfan43 says:

To me a Jeep just looks pissed off

Rob S says:

Why does does the driver side headlight turn off when you're use the left turn signal?

BG 45 says:

Nice improvements. I have LED lights to add to JD.
Rosin core soldier. TTWT showed a butt connector that had soldier inside the shrink and seal tube.

KevnO says:

I love that dump truck.

ItsAllGoodDan says:

First thing I change on every vehicle!!! I switch to either HID. Or the LED. Depending. But both have similar results. Cool thing with newerish vehicles is you can swap just the bulbs to LED on many of them. Keeps the stock headlight look if your into that. Love the look of the jeep too btw

Robert McDonnold says:

It looks like the most common comment was "thanks for aiming your headlights". You'd almost think that was common sense. Unfortunately common sense isn't that common.
Thanks
Bob

ponypwr says:

Great tire choice on the Wrangler aswell! Only AT tire to buy imo.

Andrew james says:

Great job Neil.
I would have done the same with the tape haha I said before you grabbed the tape just use some tape to make up the gap. Lol have a good one friend. Thanks for the vid

Hamscanner says:

Curious what went on at 16:15 as you where reversing out hopefully they haven’t given you any trouble in this country the day running lights (drl) if fitted to vehicle they come on when the vehicle ignition is turned on and when the main beam is activated the drl need to turn off

Hamscanner says:

Not too sure if it has been pointed out but that thing you called a transformer that’s a resistor in theory it will get hot it should be ideally mounted to a metal surface (with screws) might pay to keep an eye on it and make sure it’s not melting the wires that you zip tied it to

Stephen Kent says:

I am getting a 1996 F350 diesel back on the road soon. These are definitely going to be on the list! What a difference!

Jeff Lilyea says:

Oncoming LED's seriously suck

Troy Weyerstrass says:

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope y’all had a wonderful day!!

U Tubota says:

Neil, I recommend the shrink tube/solder combo connection; installed with a heat gun. The connectors you used will always accumulate dirt and moisture. If I receive those in a kit, I throw them away. I saw the the solder/shrink tube combination on Camarata's channel and have used them ever since. Even the crimp on connectors will fail over time. The combo connection solders, heat shrinks, and provides a water proof seal. I do a lot of trailer wiring, and have repaired a lot of the other connectors. It may take an extra minute or two, but saves a failure when you need them most at night.

James Leatherman says:

When splicing wires, think WWACD (What Would Andrew Camarata Do)

Greg D says:

Those are some sharp looking eyeballs on both vehicles Neil. Nice job. I do have questions though. Did you consult with Wes on the use of that wussy connector? If not, there will be Hell to pay. Have you considered using that door jam insulating foam instead of the "electricians friend?" Might make for a tighter, conforming fit in the long run. Are the headlights supposed to blink with the turn signals, or was that a frame rate, led, camera kind of thing? Maybe Kara likes winking at on coming traffic? As long as she's happy, everyone is happy. Another enjoyable offering my friend! Love home.
