Bro you only tork when on the ground. Also always lossen everything at the same time when doing a lift. Just go spend $50 on two more jack stands. Stop wasting money on power tools and just get some basic garage tools. I have less than half the tools that you do and did the same job on my old Jeep 8 yrs ago in the driveway.

Just did my x factor install. Didn't see this video beforehand unfortunately. Rock krawler 3.5 x factor system with all control arms and track bars. Install was kind of tedious to get it all done right. I recommend disconnecting the fad connector to make sure you don't break it while doing the install. Impressions of the on road drive is amazing. Handles superb and feels great all around. Have yet to take it off road since I broke my fad connector lol. Waiting for the new connector to come in so I can replace it.

Love watching your video's because you are down to earth and not all polished and snooty like some other video's

Mikester S says:

The grease gun nozzle can be adjusted larger and smaller by turning the end. You will break off a zerk fitting hulking out on it that way.

Quick tip if you are doing this lift- Before you do anything, carefully cut / notch the back side of the front brake line brackets using a Dremel or a narrow cutoff wheel. Just weaken the brackets so you can bend them open and remove the line. Bend them open while they are attached to the control arms. This worked for me and took 5 min each. Another tip, drill the hole for the front bump stop but don't install until you are installing the spring. Put the bump stop in the spring when you insert the spring onto the perch. Tighten it up through the coils.

What are your torque specs for control arms if you wouldn't mind me asking? We we nstalled these today but we lost our instructions and we don't see helpful info online. Lol thanks Matt!

Bobby McCracken says:

Great video, when you were pulling the parking break line you said you could not get a 1/2 socket over line to release the clip. I used a 1/2 closed end wrench and it worked great. Just passing along info since this video gave me so much, thx.

Morag Tong says:

Lol…the control arms are bigger than your actual arms.

Hello question the installation is similar for JK ?

Jay Hernandez says:

I have a mopar lift kit and thinking putting some adjustable control arms to correct my geometry and caster, pinion angle, center axle, and if i am on budget should i put front or rear?

Wrangler JL 360 says:

joe boo says:

16 minutes in and you definitely convinced me to pay to have mine installed:)
