Is it heaver than the oem top?
@kowz4u I don’t think it is much heavier. I don’t have the exact weight for
the OEM top but I have helped take both off Jeeps owned by friends and
there wasn’t much of a weight difference between the two.
what about installing the weather strips, the wiring for the light, rear
defroster, and rear wiper?
@calven727 well done, but that was very funny. Is the hard top smooth on
the inside where you could use large suction cups? if so you can use large
suction cups and put handles in them . That would make it easier and less
likely to drop.
check out my page to see how to install with only one person and no cables.
And yes I almost dropped it lol
Wish they would have gone into more detail on the defroster/wiper hookups
and bolts
@pouncey007 For the weather stripping you clean the area, remove the tape,
then trim as needed. For the dome light and defroster you first find a
mounting location for the switch. Then you plug in all the wires and run
power to the battery.
