This is a nice easy tutorial on how to install the mopar gas cap cover door on your jeep wrangler jk it fits easy and looks so much better. i like to have that space closed up to keep debree out from gas cap so i have no worries when filling up and it installs easy

I have no mechanical skills. I do have a 2016 JK that I wanted to install the MOPAR fuel door cover. It looked complicated and the instructions in the box were awful. Found your video, studied it several times, an mustered up enough courage to attempt the installation. Went well, except that releasing the tabs on the OEM ring was difficult. Had to use a large flat head screwdriver to apply pressure. Took me, as a first time install, about one hour. Thank you for posting this video. You made one new Jeep owner happy.
The tail light is just the two inner bolts. even with the tail light guard.
