Great video Thank You. I use a bungee cord to suspend the calipers….fyi.

Robert Gilbreath says:

Thanks so much for a great video. For others who may run into a similar
problem: 2007 Grand Cherokee V6’s have an O-ring that act as a retainer and
hold the front rotors onto the hub. It is easily removed and reused
(doesn’t come with any brake parts kits that I’ve seen so far), but it can
be a pain if you don’t realize what it does.

on1inepirate says:

Awesome video! Thanks for the tutorial dude

Zacylf says:

Nice Video. One thing I would add, for those who have not done it before.
There is a rubber o-ring from the factory around the hub that helps hold
the rotor in place on the rear. Up north it tends to deteriorate and may
not be there, but if it is still there and you don’t know it, getting the
rotor off can be a challenge.

JBrunsonJr says:

Check out the video of me putting on my lift kit – I take out and reinstall
my front struts. Thanks for watching!

hoppyaf says:

I just did mine on friday it took me four and half hours. Road salt does
wonders on rotors and hubs. good video though

Jared Neaman says:

I’m glad I watch your videos. Using another tool to get more leverage
helped me when I was changing my spark plugs. That one in the back I
couldn’t get a good grip to turn it but using the method you suggested made
it super easy!

4u2nvinmtl says:

what about bleeding the breaks?

JBrunsonJr says:

BFG Mud Terrains. They are the same tires that come stock on a Rubicon JK
Wranlger…

JBrunsonJr says:

Shoo, it was well over 100 degrees out when I recorded that this summer, so
yeah, totally. Flip flops and baggy shorts FTW!

xxZR2xx says:

nice video, this should be a sticky on a forum called, brakes for dummies.
you went into very good detail that i thought was just common sense with
the breaker bar and such, good job

Cheryl Alleman says:

Gah! You glossed over the part I’m struggling with! How the heck did you
get the actuator lever back on the rears?? Mine fell off during disassembly
and I’m starting to wonder if there’s something wrong with the system since
the shoes were already hard-pressed on the inside of the rotor. Help??

whogivesashit9idunno says:

Great video. The only thing that is missing is how you remove the rear
rotors. I am having trouble with this, and don’t want to break anything. I
can’t tell if there is an O-Ring or something on the outside that needs to
be removed, but it’s not coming off with a hammer. Are there some bolts
that need to be removed. Thank you!

mypcblewup says:

Great Video, Man! Where did you order your parts from?

KiloCharlieOne says:

Hey man great vid. i normally don’t work on my vehicles but after watching
your vid i said “F” it. first front brake took me about 45 min but all the
rest went about half that time. Oh and i found out my parking brake shoes
came off and were rolling inside the rotor on the rear right wheel. i’ll be
replacing those this weekend. excellent vid.

Brian Diamond says:

Why did you choose mopar parts?

Alex Hordiyenko says:

there is 4×4 watch 2.00 min))))))) WK is not front wheel drive corolla

porterfire13 says:

Hey man I have a 05 grand cherokee 2

f00lishkl0wn says:

quite informative. thank you. i am going to be replacing my front
rotors/brake pads, but i think that ill go pay to have someone replace the
rears, i dont have that kind of patience. im almost sold on old man emu’s
lift kit, comes with new shocks and coils and is more expensive than the
pucks but i hear nothing but great results from people. cheers!

Xomanowar99 says:

Without air tools, there’s more blood, sweat, and tears involved. .

modette99 says:

I see the shipping labels on the box, where did you order from and does it
all come together rotors, pads, and other bits? Oh, and a another method is
using a C-Clap if you have one big enough it’s what I been using for 15
years to push the pistons back in.

Craig Arndt says:

Great brake changing attire…. Seriously?

Kevin Ceigersmidt says:

What size socket to get off the caliper? 1/2 inch?

cycloneyou says:

Great video I changed my rear brakes with your video made the job super
easy.

porterfire13 says:

What kind of tires do you have?

JBrunsonJr says:

Glad this helped out! Amazing how some of these little “tricks of the
trade” can help get people out of a pickle. Thanks for watching!

meltonguy says:

awesome video! helped me out.

porterfire13 says:

Unfortunately 3.7 2wd but i love your videos. So helpful!!! But you should
