Like the old tube TVs , if it acts up whack it on the side for a quick fix
We used to have problems with TIPMs especially on Dodge Caravans/ Voyagers! You could wiggle the wiring and all kinds of weird things would happen! Not had one in a while now though!

Patasitic voltage loss, many times, be the rectifier in the alternator. If the alt feels watm, in the morni g, it trying to motorize, due to faulty rectifier…..
My 2002 Ford F-150 4.6 L V8 was running lean on bank one, later bank two, then both. During this event I was getting 28-32 mpg on this large truck. Replaced all O2 sensors, mass airflow sensor and could not get mileage in normal range. After full analysis by mechanic it was a bad intake manifold gasket. Once fixed mileage was back to 19/14.
Yes I was calculating it correctly, nobody was adding gas since I was the only one with the gas cap key.

Friend helped out an older guy, and the old man offered him a cherokee, around 92 or '92, for $1400…!!!!
The darn thing is like new, garahed, and only had less than 20,000 miles.

I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it was trash. Cut off while driving, cheap plastic handles on the doors and a money pit because the dealership didn’t know what to fix.
It's sad that we Americans build the worst cars. I've always wondered why GM doesn't just buy a Honda Accord and study/copy it like Hyundai did.

Scotty, check the yellow wire on the starter that it isnt corroded. I have one of these jeeps and i think the yellow wire on the starter reads the voltage for the computer from the battery there…stupid. ( the big positive wire from the battery to starter solenoid)
I guessed TIPM before watching. I warned my daughter because her hubby drives a JEEP. BTW Scotty you are so right about how crappy MB is. We have a bunch in our fleet. The Sprinters are all going to the dealer for ADBLUE pollution control issues. The head mechanic told me that every bill for repairs on MB SPRINTERS has been $6 000 CAD or more. The biggest bill was an astounding $16 000 CAD for one repair bill. I am SO SO SO GLAD I AM POOR and can only afford Toyota.
