We actually drilled holes in the bottom and used u-bolts from the hardware
store. Since they are on the bottom, water leakage isn’t really an issue.
We use padlocks to secure the contents and since the nuts on the u-bolts
are on the inside of the boxes it provides a decent amount of security.
What are the cargo boxes on top of the rack? I like them.
Okay thanks!
YOU CAN BUY A SMITTY BILT SRC ROOF RACK WITHOUT DRILLING THE FRAME AND GO
THROUGH ALL THAT UNBOLTING AND ITS CHEAP AND TIME CONSUMING TOO.
Those are Pelican Storm Cases. They work great, even in a pressure wash
hose down. No leaks.
Get the modle right that aint 4 doors
Have a rear swing rack on my yj….is there enough room on there to put
this rack?
The Garvin Wilderness Roof Rack
What about a hard top?????
How much does this roof rack cost?
Awesome info. Definitely looking into this rack and whole setup. Any idea
if any rooftop tents would work with this rack? Looking into the ARB
rooftop tent.
Awesome thanks for the reply! How are they being secured down?
What brand are those gear boxes on the finished product?
Do you have a name for the maker of this rack? Thanks
Not sure on the tent, never researched it. The folks at Garvin should be
able to help.
awesome video, i wish i had a jeep to use this on
We used u-bolts and attached them to the rack floor. We could not be
happier with the rack worked out for us.
