This is the Censored dumbed down version of replacing a Power steering box in a Jeep Wrangler TJ. Fedor’s Jeep was leaking and it was time to replace it. These things are expensive so hopefully you won’t have to do it. Pulling the Pitman arm off is the hardest part of the job, in worst case, you may have to cut the Pitman arm off that has happened to me before in the past.

What size socket did you use for the Pitman arm?
Trying to reattach my steering gear to the steering shaft. Having some trouble. Any tips? Long story short, replaced power steering hoses. Like an idiot, I unhooked the gear so I could get to them but then I couldn't get the gear aligned properly because there wasn't a lot of play in the steering shaft. Unhooked from steering shaft so I could mount. Now I can't get the shaft back in. Thoughts?
What size is the Pitman Arm nut? I have read 32 or 33mm….
