i was gonna say ebay but it looks like you got it covered
never mind. found it on amazon…
where did you get that kit from? the ones I`m looking at don`t have the boot for the top just the bottom bushing. thanks
omg pb blaster is amazing man
Makes you wonder why they don’t have more auto hobby shops around.. That would be killer.
i don’t have a press to use, but would using a pitman arm removal tool work just as good ?
the rough country lift kit i installed only replaced the lower control arms and kept the upper ones stock which i didn’t care for much at all
ya it is the 8.8 i found 1 for 100$ i want to build for my jeep. have u had any problems with ur driveline after your 4 inch lift?? i went with the 3 1/4 rough counrty and experianced all the problems u did and really wish i would have done the 4″ with the trailing arm upgrade as i still have the factory ones and there pretty flimsy
to be honest i haven’t really decided on what route im going to go with the axles, i may just keep the stock dana’s and buy stronger axles and regear to 4.56 and run 33’s or search for a set of modified axles that somebody has already shortened. I think it’s the ford explorer 8.8 that will fit right in you only have to re-weld the brackets to make it work on the jeep
hey man love the vid.would u be doing any on a 8.8 axle swap or anything like tha by any chancet ??
i have lots of more videos coming for the jeep over the next month or so
Really enjoy your videos and info, anytime i have problems with my 2004 LJ i always check ur videos first to see if you haven’t done it already! Once again thanks for the videos you do a good job explaining everything
– sweet i’ll give it a try! Thanks!
yes that would work, my friends and some other people that have posted before swear by a product called pb blaster. I haven’t tried it but a friend of mine swears by it.
– i have to do this repair. u think it will help if i spray the bolt/nut with WD40 and let it sit overnight?
no they came off pretty easy, which surprised me as nothing on the jeep has came off too easy
was it a biatch to get the nuts off?
