Dude your dumb you are risking getting seriously injured or killed,USE A
FREAKING JACK STAND AND FLOOR JACK NOT A BOTTLE JACK use common sense.
I can not believe this dude is risking his life doing this with no jack
stand, or at least a wheel thrown under the subframe!!!!!
What ever you do don’t take this guys advice on safety!!!!! For real a
bottle jack and no jack stands and having his legs under the jeep?? Not
even wearing a pair of gloves at the least……….

@gypsiechavi no but really, was the only thing holding up the car that
bottle jack? cuz i saw all the video parts to this video and he didnt get
hurt but, just using a bottle jack as ur only support is kinda dangerous.
wow, both unsafe one sitting under the wheel well the other laying under
the care while recording…… without jack stands. Go spend 40bucks on
some jack stands

The popping sound you were speaking of in the beginning: is that easily
confused with viscous coupling malfunction? Cuz i have a 94 zj and i cant
tell if my problem lies within the TC or my axel. And I don’t want to take
apart one to find I took apart the wrong thing. For instance: when you were
going real slow, turning really sharply, did your front wheels try to hop
an was the steering groaning/binding? Please, someone who knows jeeps, help
a jeeper out.
Sweetie even with floor jacks he should be using jack stands

jack stand to replace my axle. I love the technique of bolt removal…1.
Jack car up… Preferable to be done on a surface having at least a slight
angle. 2. Crawl under front axle assembly. 3. Call for ambulance 4. Begin
banging on bolts that keep axle in place. Wow…
You will KNOW when its the CVs.. you will feel it in the steering wheel…

oi i replaced mine front axel and rotors and stuff it cost me like 1500
dollars now i have to put in hubs WTF thats like another 500 but i cant do
it mine self becaus ei have no place to do it but the hus i will try doing
it mine self and save like 300 dollars the end 😛
Umm, not sure how you couldn’t notice that the rear wheels are
chocked….oh and his leg is just fine 🙂
IF you EVER need to hammer on a wench, you use a dead blow mallet. never
steel to steel…. And PB is great stuff. But the key and I am posting this
all over here, is to use the right socket. A SPLINE Socket not a hex
socket… no beating the wrench to reform the bolt head like Joe Hammer
Mechanic did… harborfreight dot kom sae, 3/8 inch drive under 10 bucks
for the set
leave dude alone ppl he didnt have anything fall . im doing axact same
thing myself and same jack onlt i do have tire underneath with 2×4 on top
for support. bur he help me out and as long as hes ok thats all that
matters. its shadetree mechanic
Next time you do this, get a 1/2 inch breaker bar and a dead blow rubber
mallet. Makes for starting the sticky bolts much easier.

STILL ROLLIN IN A E30 WHILE PAYING 300 PLUS FOR YOUR CV JOINT. , U PROB
CANT AFFORD A JEEP
Wrong! a true mecanic bills by the book… the time listed in the book. so
the faster they can get the job done the more money they make since the
customer is still billed BY THE BOOK
what I usually do is the weight of the vehicle on a jack stand with the
jack still underneath, then throw the wheel under as well. Triple
protection. Redundancy is better then a prosthetic.
get a good jackstand dude. your risking your life unnecessarily. use the
tire you took off, a wide log, or something solid.
if it was like the rear you cant turn so they run a cv inside the knuckle.
the back has solid shafts they look like the front except they dont have a
pivot.

oi i hate jeeps and this kinda happened to mine but the whole front diff
went then the dude at the garage took out mine axels then the wheels fell
out whie i was driving haha WTF so now i have to change out diff and hubs
and there not cheap not at all the diff is like 800 plus the hubs 200 and
to match the axels and diff and afront end thats like 40 different thigns
WTF jeeps are gay dont buy a jeep the end 😛
