Yes, removed the fuel line and use the correct tool to do it. If it breaks
there goes $80. Also use new bolts, buy them if they don’t come with the
headers. Nothing is worse than noise coming from those ancient bolts.

Christopher Nash says:

Defiantly after viewing the inside of the stock vs the Banks the Banks
header does flow better. The less restrictions in your exhaust the better.
Also note that the stock header is prone to cracking around the pipes
coming off the cylinders. This was not my Cherokee but if I were to do a
header change again i would defiantly go with Banks. The design offers less
restrictions and it sounds great. Thanks.

Christopher Nash says:

Just keep all your bolts in a one place. Regarding the belt it needs to
have like 1/2 inch to an inch play up and down. Be sure to to mark all your
vac lines and the electric plugs to the TB and to the Crank case sensor.

I got a 1994 cherokee.0-60 in 6 sec and i love it lol K&N intake, Platinum
plugs, hollowed out cat, cheap thrush muffler, NO lift, monthly cleaned
throttle body, and I have all kinds of stuff taken out of it so it weighs
less but i was wondering about the whole stock header vs a custom one? I
have the factory one still on and where the 2 pipes come together its gotta
be less than 2″ in diameter because of the way the factory kinked it. Do
you think a custom one would do much for more power?

so is there a certain torque amount that the belt has to be at. Ive never
replaced a header before but mine is cracked and im lookin up how to do
this. anything i need to be careful of? thanks

funny how no one shows or talks about the PIA lower bolts when
reinstalling.
